TENANTS:
At McKenzies, we always "take the time to listen and talk to you" for us to fully understand your particular needs.

Register:
To start, you will need to call us, or register your details online, so that we can find the best property suitable for you.

Viewings:
Viewings are carried out between 9.30am - 7.30pm Monday to Thursday, Friday evenings finishing at 6.30pm. Saturdays between 10am - 4pm

Choosing your property:
Once you have decided on a property that you like, we ask for a holding fee and give you tenancy application forms, for you to complete and return. Also you are given a breakdown of fees payable on the day you move in (see Frequently Asked Questions). Once references are complete and satisfactory, we will organise your move in day.

Security Deposit:
A 6 week security deposit is pad by you at the start of the tenancy. This deposit is then registered with either The Deposit Protection Service or the Tenancy Deposit Scheme and a Certificate will be issued to you. When you leave the property, the deposit will be paid back to you in accordance with the Terms and Conditions of the Assured Shorthold Tenancy Agreement.

Tenancy Agreement:
Once the referencing process is complete, we will draw up an Assured Shorthold Tenancy Agreement for both you and the Landlord to sign. These are usually over 12 months with a 6 month break clause.

Check In:
On the day that you wish to move in, we will organise for you to sign the documents here in the office and pay your moving in fees. You will be booked to meet an Independent Inventory Clerk to carry out the Check In. Then its all up to you!
